PetDose

Privacy Policy

PetDose is a pet medication management SaaS designed to help households manage medication plans, dose reminders, shared care updates, and family collaboration.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you access or use PetDose, how we use that information, and how you can learn more about our data practices.

Effective date

March 25, 2026

What information we collect

  • Account and identity information, such as your email address, the user identifier created through Supabase Authentication, and basic profile details you choose to provide.
  • Pet care and plan information, such as pet names, medication plans, schedules, notes, dose confirmations, shared care updates, and family collaboration records.
  • Billing and subscription metadata, such as Creem customer IDs, subscription IDs, plan status, renewal dates, expiration dates, and transaction status.
  • Technical and infrastructure information, such as basic browser, device, IP, access-time, and error log data used for security, reliability, and troubleshooting.

How we use information

  • To provide PetDose features, including plan management, dose reminders, shared care updates, and family collaboration.
  • To identify your account, maintain sign-in state, and sync shared data across caregivers.
  • To activate, manage, and maintain paid subscriptions and billing status.
  • To protect the service, detect misuse, fix bugs, and improve product stability.
  • To respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.

Authentication and account data

PetDose uses Supabase Authentication for sign-up, sign-in, and basic session management. We process the minimum account information needed to recognize you and connect your account to your medication and collaboration data, including your user ID, email address, and basic profile fields.

To keep you signed in, Supabase and related browser mechanisms may use necessary session storage, tokens, cookies, or similar technologies.

Payment handling through Creem

Paid subscriptions are handled through Creem. Your payment card details are processed by Creem, and PetDose does not directly store full card numbers or complete payment credentials.

We receive the billing metadata we need to operate subscriptions, such as customer IDs, subscription IDs, subscription status, renewal or end dates, and payment or transaction outcomes.

Data storage and infrastructure through Supabase and Vercel

PetDose is hosted on Vercel, and account and application data are primarily stored through Supabase. These providers may process database records, authentication sessions, files, and infrastructure logs on our behalf to operate the service.

We limit access to data to what is reasonably necessary to provide the service and rely on these providers' security controls to help protect your information.

Cookies, browser storage, and analytics

PetDose currently relies mainly on necessary browser storage rather than advertising cookies. Based on the current implementation, the app uses localStorage or sessionStorage for items such as language preference, browser reminder settings and reminder logs, and return-state handling after subscription management actions.

We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies, and we do not currently see third-party analytics trackers integrated into this web app. Vercel, Supabase, and Creem may still generate routine technical logs for infrastructure, security, and transaction processing purposes.

How and when we share information

  • With service providers acting on our behalf, including Supabase, Creem, and Vercel.
  • With members of the same family space when you use family collaboration and choose to share pet care information there.
  • When required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to enforce our terms, or to protect PetDose, our users, or the public.
  • In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, as permitted by applicable law.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, process billing, resolve disputes, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

If you request deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize data within a reasonable period, subject to legal, accounting, audit, backup, and security requirements.

Your rights and choices

  • You may update some account and plan details directly in the product and manage reminders, subscriptions, and collaboration settings through the available features.
  • You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account, subject to applicable law and reasonable technical limitations.
  • If you do not want browser reminders, you can disable them in your browser settings or in the app where available.
